Finance Director – Controller (Staffing Services)

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Director to lead the financial mechanics of our people‑based, billable‑hours business. You will own the close, controls, and compliance for the entity while partnering closely with delivery and account leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly and annual financial close, preparing P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statements.
• Manage revenue recognition for time‑and‑material, fixed‑price and staff‑augmentation contracts.
• Track billable utilization, bench cost and realization rates; build deal‑level profitability views.
• Design and enforce internal controls, approval matrices and segregation of duties.
• Ensure statutory compliance, manage audit processes and maintain Ind AS/US GAAP reporting.
• Oversee intercompany invoicing, transfer‑pricing documentation and cash movement tied to client invoicing cycles.
• Act as finance partner for delivery and account teams, supporting budgeting, forecasting and margin visibility.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent (CPA, ACCA) with 10‑15 years post‑qualification experience.
• Experience in staffing, IT services or IDC business models, comfortable with utilization‑based profitability.
• Strong knowledge of Ind AS and US GAAP.
