Finance Deployment Lead Analyst

About the role

The Finance Deployment Lead Analyst will join the Innovative Medicines Finance Transformation (IMFT) team to support the end‑to‑end finance process rollout as part of the global S/4 HANA implementation. This role works closely with the Finance Deployment Manager and cross‑functional partners to ensure successful deployment, testing, and adoption across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Support the finance workstream through all phases of Transcend releases, including data migration, business simulation testing (BST), user acceptance testing (UAT), cutover and hyper‑care.
• Partner with Business Process Owners and Global Template Owners to develop and deploy global finance templates, identify risks, and manage inter‑dependencies with related programs.
• Prepare and validate data conversion, ensure high‑quality data aligns with the Common Information Model, and support post‑go‑live hyper‑care activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 6+ years of professional finance experience, preferably with SAP S/4 HANA Finance.
• MBA (Finance) / CA / ICWA or equivalent qualification.
• Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and ability to balance big‑picture thinking with execution.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4 HANA Finance and understanding of overall finance processes.
• Proficiency in data conversion, migration, and validation activities.
• Familiarity with digital tools such as PowerQuery, PowerBI, and Jira for project tracking.
