Finance Controller – US GAAP

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Controller with deep expertise in US GAAP and IFRS to lead controllership functions for our global operations. The role will oversee accounting, reporting, tax, compliance and audit activities while supporting finance transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead controllership, accounting, financial reporting, global/group reporting, external & internal audit, and group compliance.
• Prepare entity accounts in accordance with IFRS and US GAAP requirements.
• Oversee accounting streams including General Ledger, Treasury, Accounts Payable, Asset Management and Project Accounting.
• Manage statutory reporting, direct & indirect taxes (Tax, VAT), legal compliance, corporate secretarial duties and Komrisk compliance.
• Maintain relationships with tax offices, banks and regulatory authorities.
• Conduct post‑cost analysis, standard costing benchmarking via ERP and perform MBR, Flash, FCF and DPO calculations.
• Support FP&A, operations, supply‑chain finance and AR/Collections to improve financial performance and working capital.
• Perform SOX documentation reviews and controls testing across key cycles (RTR, PTP, OTC, IPPS).
• Lead system automation projects, including Capex payment workflows and Oracle Manufacturing module implementation.
• Handle audits and direct tax matters hands‑on.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
• 10+ years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Proven experience with audits, direct tax and statutory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and SOX requirements.
• Experience managing global accounting teams and cross‑functional finance projects.
