Finance Controller (NBFC & Gold Loan)

About the role

We are a fast‑growing Indian financial services firm focused on NBFCs, gold loans and asset‑backed lending. We are looking for a Chartered Accountant to lead finance control, ensure regulatory compliance and provide strategic insight for our loan portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end finance control, delivering accurate P&L, balance‑sheet and cash‑flow reporting for NBFC and gold‑loan portfolios.
• Lead statutory compliance with RBI guidelines, NBFC audit requirements, GST and Income‑Tax filings.
• Optimize internal controls for loan disbursement, collateral management and NPA tracking, integrating with core‑banking systems.
• Drive month‑end closing, reconciliations and variance analysis to flag operational and credit risks.
• Partner with Treasury and Risk teams to monitor liquidity, capital adequacy ratios and ALM metrics.
• Automate reporting using ERP solutions (Tally, SAP, Oracle) and BI tools to enhance finance productivity and board visibility.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification – mandatory.
• Hands‑on experience in NBFC or gold‑loan finance operations.
• Deep knowledge of RBI NBFC regulations and NPA provisioning norms.
• Proficiency in financial reporting, MIS for loan portfolios and statutory audit coordination.
• Strong understanding of GST and Income‑Tax compliance in financial services.

Required skills

• ERP systems: Tally, SAP FICO, Oracle Financials.
• Advanced Excel for modeling and reconciliation.
• BI/visualisation tools: Power BI, Tableau.
• Core‑banking platforms: Finacle, Temenos (preferred).
• Knowledge of Basel III/CRAR capital‑adequacy frameworks.
