Finance Controller (NBFC & Gold Loan)

About the role

We are a fast‑growing Indian financial services firm specializing in NBFCs, gold‑loan and asset‑backed lending. We are looking for a Chartered Accountant to take full ownership of finance control, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance and strategic insight across our loan portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end finance control, delivering accurate P&L, balance‑sheet and cash‑flow statements for NBFC and gold‑loan operations.
• Lead statutory compliance with RBI guidelines, NBFC audit requirements, GST and Income‑Tax filings, ensuring zero delays or discrepancies.
• Design and optimise internal controls for loan disbursement, collateral management and NPA tracking, integrating with core banking systems.
• Manage month‑end closing, reconciliations and variance analysis, flagging operational and credit risks early.
• Collaborate with Treasury and Risk teams to monitor liquidity, capital adequacy (CRAR/Basel III) and ALM metrics in line with regulatory norms.
• Automate reporting workflows using ERP solutions (Tally, SAP FICO, Oracle Financials) and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) to enhance finance productivity and board‑level visibility.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification – mandatory.
• Hands‑on experience in finance operations of NBFCs or gold‑loan businesses.
• Deep knowledge of RBI NBFC regulations, NPA provisioning and capital‑adequacy norms.
• Proven track record in statutory and GST/Income‑Tax compliance for financial services.
• Experience coordinating internal or external audits.

Required skills

• ERP systems – Tally, SAP FICO or Oracle Financials.
• Advanced Excel for financial modelling and reconciliations.
• Business intelligence tools – Power BI, Tableau.
• Core banking platforms – Finacle, Temenos (or similar).
• Regulatory reporting – RBI, GST, Income‑Tax.
