Finance Controller

About the role

Mudrex, India’s leading crypto investment platform, is seeking a Chartered Accountant to lead and scale its global finance engine. The role spans India, the US, Dubai and Canada, partnering with senior leadership to transform finance operations at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end month‑end and year‑end financial close processes.
• Drive financial and management reporting, including MIS and business reporting.
• Oversee balance‑sheet governance, reconciliations and working‑capital controls.
• Develop and strengthen accounting policies, controls and compliance frameworks.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors and regulatory stakeholders.
• Lead finance transformation initiatives, identifying inefficiencies, designing solutions, implementing automation and measuring impact.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, data, operations and business teams to build technology‑enabled finance processes.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of relevant finance or controllership experience.
• Chartered Accountant qualification.
• Proven ability to lead a team and manage cross‑functional projects.
• Experience working across multiple jurisdictions (India, US, Dubai, Canada) is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on process improvement and scalability.
