Finance Controller

About the role

Loopworm is seeking a Finance Controller to build and own the finance function for its silkworm‑based ingredient business. You will design controls, develop costing models, manage cash and working capital, and ensure compliance while supporting rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute monthly close processes, ensuring books are closed by day 5 of each month.
• Maintain inventory valuation for raw material, WIP, finished goods and packing material and reconcile to the general ledger.
• Develop product‑level costing, landed cost per kg, conversion cost, yield accounting and monthly margin reporting.
• Own the annual budget and monthly budget‑vs‑actual reviews in partnership with plant and procurement teams.
• Manage rolling cash‑flow forecasts, working‑capital cycles, banking relationships and debt terms.
• Implement hedging policy for export receivables and oversee export incentives documentation.
• Prepare data‑room, financial model and diligence responses for lenders and investors.
• Drive statutory audit to a clean report, oversee GST, TDS, PF, PT and income‑tax compliance, and lead tax planning.
• Mentor the Accounts Manager, recruit junior staff and lead the finance side of the ERP rollout.

Required profile

• High integrity with experience handling banking authority, payment approvals and investor reporting.
• Proven ability to build finance processes from scratch in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical mindset and comfort presenting financial results to senior stakeholders.
