Finance Controller

About the role

The Finance Controller leads financial controllership for the IPDO business unit, ensuring accurate monthly closing, robust reporting, and balance‑sheet hygiene. The role provides actionable insights through MIS, budgeting and forecasting, and supports R&D operations with cost optimisation and process automation.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee monthly financial closing, provisioning, compliance and reporting across IPDO plants.
• Review financial statements and notes to accounts, ensuring adherence to IFRS and IGAAP.
• Drive MIS reporting, budget‑vs‑actual analysis and monthly leadership‑team submissions.
• Manage annual operating‑expenditure budgeting in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
• Govern capital‑expenditure proposals, track spend and optimise capex utilisation.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, SOX controls and internal audit standards.
• Lead process‑automation initiatives and cost‑optimisation projects to improve efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial controllership within a manufacturing or R&D environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, IGAAP and SOX compliance.
• Ability to analyse financial data and present actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Excellent attention to detail and a focus on process improvement.
