Finance Controller

About the role

The Finance Controller will lead the end‑to‑end financial closing, compliance and reporting processes for an airport‑related organization. You will ensure accurate financial statements, manage tax obligations, and support strategic decisions through robust financial modelling and stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial closing of books, audit coordination and compliance with Ind AS and GAAP.
• Manage capex execution, ensuring projects stay within time and budget.
• Supervise accounts receivable and payable, guaranteeing timely billing, vendor payments and revenue integrity.
• Handle tax compliance, filing returns, responding to queries and securing Cenvat credits.
• Prepare annual operating plans, MIS reports and variance analysis for senior management.
• Develop financial models and future projections to support financing proposals and strategic initiatives.
• Maintain relationships with regulators, banks, AAI, MoCA and other key stakeholders.
• Drive non‑aero revenue growth by identifying new monetisation opportunities and expanding them across airports.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
• Strategic thinking with strong decision‑making capabilities.
• Exceptional leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
