Finance Controller

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Controller to lead finance operations for our Bangalore office. The role focuses on delivering accurate financial reporting, driving process improvements, and partnering with business leaders to support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end management reporting for the business unit.
• Ensure financial results are accurate, complete, and consistent.
• Review and validate monthly close activities, including revenue recognition, cost allocations, accruals, and provisions.
• Analyse performance, explain variances versus budget/forecast, and provide insight‑driven recommendations.
• Collaborate with leaders on budgeting, forecasting, KPI tracking, and business analysis.
• Support finance transformation initiatives, reporting optimisation, and implementation of new financial systems and processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and controls.
• Experience with accounting tools and ERP systems; NetSuite is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and business partnering capabilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
