Finance Controller

About the role

We are seeking a senior finance leader to oversee the full spectrum of financial management for our retail store network, ensuring accurate records, robust controls, and timely intelligence for decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Own the complete accounting function, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations and month‑end/year‑end book closure.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with Ind AS/GAAP and produce management reporting packs with variance analysis.
• Manage cash‑flow forecasting, working‑capital cycles, banking relationships and fund utilisation.
• Ensure accurate and timely filing of all direct and indirect tax obligations (GST, TDS, advance tax, professional tax) and maintain related documentation.
• Serve as primary contact for statutory, internal and tax auditors, coordinating schedules and resolving audit findings.
• Design, implement and review internal control frameworks, ERP data integrity and automation initiatives, and oversee compliance for the retail store network (licenses, permits, certifications).

Required profile

• Proven senior finance leadership experience with hands‑on controllership across accounting, reporting, treasury, tax and compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to manage audits and regulatory filings under Indian law.
• Familiarity with Ind AS/GAAP and Indian tax regulations (GST, TDS, income tax).
• Experience overseeing financial compliance for a multi‑store retail operation.
