Finance Controller

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Finance Controller to lead financial controllership across all entities of the Federal Mogul Group in Gurgaon. The role requires strategic oversight of reporting, compliance, and process optimisation in a fast‑paced, multinational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee preparation, consolidation and timely reporting of financial statements under Local GAAP and US GAAP.
• Design, implement and monitor robust internal control frameworks, ensuring compliance with IFC/SOX and other regulatory standards.
• Drive standardisation, automation and optimisation of financial processes, collaborating with IT and ERP teams.
• Act as a strategic advisor to the CFO on financial risks, opportunities, M&A due diligence and capital restructuring.
• Build, mentor and develop a high‑performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant or equivalent qualification.
• 12‑15 years of progressive experience in financial controllership, preferably in a global leadership role.
• Proven experience managing finance functions across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, statutory requirements and multinational regulatory environments.
• High integrity, global mindset and ability to manage ambiguity.
