Finance Controller

About the role

sa.global is seeking an experienced, business‑focused Finance Controller to lead the finance function for its India operations. The role will shape financial strategy, ensure statutory compliance, and align local finance practices with global standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual financial closures, preparing MIS reports, variance analysis and management dashboards.
• Maintain accurate financial records in line with applicable accounting standards and internal control policies.
• Own the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting for India, monitoring performance against targets.
• Provide financial analysis and decision‑support to senior leadership.
• Oversee project cost tracking, margin performance and revenue recognition.
• Supervise day‑to‑day finance operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable and the general ledger.
• Control fund utilisation, working capital, liquidity and cash‑flow management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance control or similar senior finance role, preferably within a multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of Indian statutory compliance and accounting standards.
• Ability to lead a finance team and collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
