Finance Controller (India)

About the role

The Finance Controller will lead accounting, financial reporting, tax, treasury and internal control activities for the Beckman Coulter India legal entity. Reporting to the Finance Head SWA, you will ensure compliance with US and Indian GAAP, manage statutory and tax audits, and support the finance partnership across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with US GAAP, Indian GAAP and company procedures.
• Oversee accounting, month‑end close, financial reporting and tax compliance, including direct, indirect and transfer‑pricing obligations.
• Implement and monitor a robust system of internal controls.
• Coordinate statutory audit, tax audits and timely submission of financial and tax returns.
• Manage payables, treasury activities and liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide proactive advice on accounting practices, tax planning and regulatory changes.

Required profile

• Strong background in finance and accounting, preferably within a multinational environment.
• In‑depth knowledge of US GAAP, Indian GAAP and tax regulations.
• Experience handling statutory and tax audits, and implementing internal controls.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership and deliver results in a fast‑paced setting.
