Finance Controller – EMEA Wealth Management

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Controller for the EMEA Wealth Management pillar, based in Mumbai. The role combines regulatory support with core controllership activities, reporting to the Wealth Controller – EMEA West.

Key responsibilities

• Support month‑end and quarter‑end close for Wealth entities, including journal entries, reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Prepare and maintain cash‑flow reports to meet regulatory and operational requirements.
• Execute financial reporting submissions to local regulatory bodies across relevant jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with compliance teams to address regulatory reporting needs.
• Assist in preparing board‑meeting materials, quarterly board packs and financial risk registers for regulated entities.
• Model regulatory and liquid capital, wind‑down scenarios and stress tests.
• Identify and implement improvements in regulatory reporting and controllership processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; fully qualified CA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
• 4‑7 years of accounting experience, preferably in Wealth Management.
• Experience with month‑end close, financial reporting and basic FCA reporting knowledge.
• Detail‑oriented, motivated and able to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
