Finance Controller – Automation, AI & Odoo Implementation

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Finance Controller to lead our finance function while driving digital transformation through automation, artificial intelligence and Odoo ERP implementation. The role combines traditional financial management with cutting‑edge technology to improve efficiency, accuracy and decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end finance and accounting operations, including AP, AR, GL and month‑end close.
• Implement and optimise Odoo ERP across accounting, reporting and related modules.
• Design and deploy AI‑driven automation for invoice processing, data extraction, reconciliation and financial analytics.
• Develop automated dashboards and MIS reports using Power BI and advanced Excel.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax laws and audit requirements.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Collaborate with IT and external vendors on system integration and workflow automation (Power Automate, APIs).
• Establish internal controls, risk‑management frameworks and continuous process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in finance and accounting leadership roles.
• Hands‑on experience with Odoo ERP implementation and configuration.
• Proven track record of finance automation and AI‑based solution delivery.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation and compliance.
