Finance Accountant (Tally ERP/Prime)

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Accountant with strong hands‑on experience in Tally ERP/Tally Prime to manage end‑to‑end accounting operations and ensure statutory compliance. The role involves preparing financial statements, handling GST and TDS filings, and supporting audit activities.

Key responsibilities

• Execute complete accounting cycles using Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
• Manage GST compliance: file GSTR‑1, GSTR‑3B, GSTR‑9, perform GST reconciliation and ITC verification.
• Prepare and file TDS returns, calculate deductions, issue Form 16/16A and ensure timely payments.
• Handle statutory dues such as PF, ESIC, Professional Tax and reconcile them regularly.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and perform bank reconciliations.
• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, and conduct vendor/customer reconciliations.
• Generate MIS, cash‑flow and budget reports for management.
• Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors and tax consultants during audits.
• Maintain fixed‑asset register, depreciation schedules and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax and ROC compliance.
• Experience in filing GST returns, GST reconciliation and GST audits.
• Proficiency in preparing financial statements and finalising accounts.
• Ability to work independently and meet statutory deadlines.
