Field Supervisor – Construction

About the role

The Field Supervisor will ensure safety, ethics and quality standards are upheld on construction sites for Otis’s elevator and escalator projects in Hyderabad. You will plan, schedule and execute work in line with customer requirements and contractual obligations, while coordinating with sales, service and subcontractor teams.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the three absolutes of Safety, Ethics and Quality at all times on site.
• Plan and schedule construction activities based on client specifications and project contracts.
• Collaborate with sales teams for SIP processes and review contractual requirements.
• Monitor project progress, conduct field safety audits and job‑site inspections.
• Develop and implement site safety and logistics plans, and deliver field education training.
• Coordinate material deliveries from the factory and forecast labour resources.
• Manage subcontractors, analyse situations, and develop contingency estimates.
• Handle client interactions, follow up on AMT, submit BPR, and collect payments.
• Ensure 100 % adherence to safety and quality standards throughout construction.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supervising construction or installation projects, preferably in the elevator/escalator sector.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, quality assurance procedures and contract management.
• Ability to plan, schedule and allocate resources effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for client and internal stakeholder coordination.
• Problem‑solving mindset with the capacity to develop contingency plans.
