Field Supervisor - Construction

About the role

Otis is seeking a Field Supervisor to lead construction activities for elevator projects in the Mumbai region. You will coordinate job planning, monitor progress on‑site, and ensure safety and quality standards are met while interacting with clients and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain business plans for the assigned area.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor construction jobs in consultation with the team.
• Conduct regular site visits, safety audits, and inspections.
• Coordinate material deliveries and labor resources to meet project timelines.
• Handle client interactions, collect fixed payments, and submit required documentation (BPR, AMT).
• Work closely with sales staff to fulfill customer requirements.
• Lead field education training to maintain a safe working environment.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in an engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the elevator industry (preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Leadership, decision‑making, time‑management and organizational abilities.

Required skills

• Engineering knowledge related to elevator systems.
• Safety audit and site inspection procedures.
