Field Service Engineer – Hydraulic Systems (Ahmedabad)

About the role

Bosch Rexroth India is looking for a Field Service Engineer to deliver on‑site support for hydraulic systems used in construction, mining and mobile equipment. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repair, validation and warranty management of hydraulic components for customers in Ahmedabad and the surrounding region.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve issues in hydraulic components such as axial piston pumps, hydraulic motors, mobile control valves and complete mobile hydraulic systems.
• Attend OEM and end‑customer complaints for field and zero‑kilometre equipment, coordinating with the Quality team to close cases.
• Conduct proto‑validation sign‑off for mobile applications including compactors, backhoe loaders, excavators and concrete pumps.
• Manage warranty claims, prepare 8D and Quad‑chart reports, and ensure timely closure of complaints.
• Maintain internal relationships with service organisations and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Achieve service‑level KPIs, particularly turnaround time for complaint resolution.

Required profile

• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities in hydraulic systems.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with customers, OEMs and internal teams.
• Experience handling warranty claims and documentation.
• Orientation towards meeting service KPIs and delivering high‑quality support.
• Relevant technical education or hands‑on experience in hydraulics.
