Field Service Engineer – Aurangabad

About the role

The Field Service Engineer will provide on‑site technical support for machinery at client locations in Aurangabad. You will ensure installations, training, repairs and preventive maintenance are performed to keep equipment running at peak efficiency while building strong customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑site installation, commissioning, training, repair and maintenance of client machinery.
• Interact directly with customers to deliver technical support and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with sales and dealer teams, sharing technical insights to drive service contracts and spare‑part sales.
• Negotiate and secure service contracts, manage billing, invoicing and accounts receivable for routine services.
• Maintain personal inventory of spare parts and tools, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Document all activities in Field Service Reports, CRM software and other required systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide escalation support.
• Assist the Area Technical Manager with preventive‑maintenance scheduling and support other locations as needed.

Required profile

• Senior‑level engineering experience with a focus on field service.
• Proven ability to work independently on customer sites.
• Strong communication skills for customer interaction and internal collaboration.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and able to manage inventory and documentation.
