Field Operations & Construction Supervisor

About the role

Amrita Dravya Foundation is seeking a hands‑on Field Operations & Construction Supervisor to manage ongoing civil works in Bhalbamora village, Madhya Pradesh. This fixed‑term, on‑site position will oversee daily construction activities, ensure quality standards, and coordinate both field and office tasks throughout the 3‑5 month project.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day civil and construction work on site, checking quality, materials, and progress against plans.
• Coordinate and oversee labor, ensuring safety and productivity.
• Monitor work against project plans, prepare regular progress reports, and maintain accurate records.
• Handle field and office duties such as documentation, record‑keeping, and basic reporting.
• Assist with procurement, material sourcing, and vendor coordination as needed.
• Serve as the local point of contact for Amrita Dravya Foundation at the construction site.

Required profile

• Rural background with comfort working in a village setting.
• Experience in construction or civil site supervision.
• Educational background in civil works (Civil Engineering Diploma, ITI in a construction trade) or proven site supervision experience.
• Ability to read basic site plans and track material, quality, and progress.
• Minimum 12th pass; civil diploma/ITI is an advantage.
• Fluency in Hindi and ability to work well with local workers and villagers.
