Field Engineer – General

About the role

Join Baker Hughes' Field Service team as a Field Engineer – General, supporting oilfield OIC services and delivering innovative solutions for complex production challenges. You will work directly with clients, coordinate multidisciplinary projects, and ensure safe, efficient operations at well sites.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor all job activities across organizational boundaries, from planning to close‑out.
• Schedule and dispatch resources, meet with clients for preparation, execution, and final reporting.
• Ensure contracts and quotes are fully understood, invoiced accurately, and revenue is captured without leakage.
• Manage project P&L, identify upsell opportunities, and control costs.
• Attend field trials, provide delivery plans, technical reports, and troubleshooting guidance.
• Supervise chemical injections at well pads and terminals while maintaining health, safety, and environmental standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in oil & gas production chemicals.
• Strong understanding of oilfield OIC operations and services.
• Proven ability to engage senior customer management and recommend appropriate products/services.
• Team‑oriented mindset with excellent verbal and written communication, including formal presentations.
