Field Engineer – Distribution (Power Projects)

About the role

AECOM is seeking an experienced Field Engineer – Distribution to support the execution and monitoring of power distribution projects. You will work on‑site, supervising field activities, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring timely delivery of distribution work.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise field activities for power distribution projects.
• Coordinate with design and project teams to align on schedules and budgets.
• Prepare engineering designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, and final working drawings under senior engineer supervision.
• Collect and analyze project data, using computer software to solve basic engineering problems.
• Ensure work is performed within agreed budget and schedule.

Required profile

• B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the power distribution sector.
• Experience with DISCOM or similar government power projects is preferred.

Required skills

• Electrical engineering design and analysis.
• Power distribution systems.
• Use of engineering software for calculations and drawings.
