F&B Service Supervisor

About the role

The Food & Beverage Service Supervisor ensures that the dining area operates smoothly, delivering high‑quality service to guests while leading a team of front‑of‑house staff. This full‑time position is based at a Marriott property on Vagator Beach, Goa.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate staff to provide optimal guest service and meet guest needs.
• Inspect staff grooming, attire, and overall appearance; address any deficiencies.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including setup of supplies, equipment cleaning, and securing the premises.
• Maintain storage areas using FIFO principles and ensure cleanliness.
• Conduct inventories, order supplies, and manage stock levels.
• Monitor dining room seating, service flow, safety, and guest well‑being.
• Create work orders for maintenance and follow up on repairs.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluation, and employee coaching.
• Enforce company safety, security, and uniform policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant Food & Beverage experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to work standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
