Fashion Buyer – Women’s Apparel

About the role

Aramya is seeking an experienced Fashion Buyer to lead the sourcing and procurement of women’s kurta sets and other ethnic wear. You will work closely with design and merchandising teams to ensure a fast‑fashion cadence that meets market demand.

Key responsibilities

• Design cost‑effective collections that capture the latest trends in women’s kurta sets.
• Manage vendor relationships to secure sampling and sourcing that align with brand, sizing, and quality standards.
• Build and maintain a robust network of ready‑made garment manufacturers and suppliers.
• Deliver a steady pipeline of curated finished products for weekly collection drops.
• Track SKU performance and vendor margins to scale best‑sellers and phase out slow‑moving items.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience as a Fashion Buyer or Procurement Executive focused on finished‑goods buying in women’s apparel or ethnic wear.
• Proven commercial negotiation ability with a track record of optimizing purchase prices.
• Established relationships with apparel vendors and manufacturing hubs.
• Strong eye for identifying high‑margin, high‑volume items in vendor catalogues.
• Self‑starter who thrives under tight timelines and a fast‑fashion calendar.
