About the role

Roorkee Institute of Technology (RIT Roorke) invites experienced academicians to join its campus as Professor, Associate Professor or Assistant Professor in Computer Science & Engineering (with a focus on AI/ML) and Electronics & Communication Engineering. The positions are full‑time, on‑site, and involve teaching undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials and laboratory sessions for CSE/AIML and ECE courses.
• Design, update and continuously improve outcome‑based curricula.
• Supervise student projects, guide research work and mentor theses.
• Publish scholarly articles in reputable journals and conferences.
• Participate in departmental committees, accreditation processes and institutional development activities.
• Engage with industry partners, organise workshops, technical events and conferences.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Electronics or Communication Engineering (Master’s required; Ph.D. preferred for senior ranks).
• Demonstrated teaching experience at undergraduate or postgraduate level.
• Active research record with publications in recognized venues.
• Strong communication, classroom management and mentoring abilities.
• Willingness to adopt modern pedagogical tools and stay updated on emerging technologies.
