Faculty Positions – Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor (Computing)

About the role

Mohan Babu University’s School of Computing is seeking passionate academicians for full‑time faculty positions at the Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor levels. Candidates should demonstrate strong credentials in teaching, research, innovation and academic administration, and be committed to outcome‑based education, interdisciplinary collaboration and industry engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses, preparing lesson plans, assessments and laboratory manuals.
• Adopt innovative, outcome‑based teaching methodologies and continuously update curricula.
• Mentor students in academics, research projects, internships, placements and career development.
• Conduct high‑quality research leading to publications in Scopus/Web of Science indexed journals.
• Secure and manage sponsored research projects, patents, consultancy and technology transfer activities.
• Participate in accreditation processes (NBA/NAAC) and contribute to institutional development.

Required profile

• Minimum B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. with First Class in Computer Science & Engineering or related discipline.
• Ph.D. in the relevant field (mandatory for Associate Professor and Professor; desirable for Assistant Professor).
• For Assistant Professor: strong academic record; for Associate Professor: at least 5 years post‑Ph.D. experience; for Professor: at least 10 years experience with 5 years as Associate Professor.
• Demonstrated record of publications, funded projects, patents or consultancy is preferred.
• Excellent communication, leadership and mentoring abilities.
