Faculty Position – Interior Designing

About the role

We are seeking qualified faculty members to join the Interior Designing department at MATS University in Raipur. The position is full‑time, on‑site and involves teaching, curriculum development and research in interior design.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Interior Designing.
• Conduct lectures, workshops, studio sessions and mentor students in design projects.
• Create and update course materials, syllabi and assessment tools.
• Participate in curriculum planning and departmental meetings.
• Engage in scholarly research, publish findings and present at conferences.
• Collaborate with industry partners to integrate real‑world projects and internships.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Interior Designing or a related field; PhD preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in teaching and curriculum development at the higher‑education level.
• Strong communication, presentation and academic writing abilities.
• Proven ability to mentor students and manage academic responsibilities.
• Organizational and time‑management skills, with a willingness to engage with industry.
