Faculty – Learning & Development (Soft Skills)

About the role

The Faculty – Learning & Development (Soft Skills) will deliver structured training programs to students across Amrita School of Engineering, Amrita School of Business, and other constituent schools. The role focuses on enhancing communication, presentation, confidence, and overall employability skills to facilitate a smooth campus‑to‑corporate transition.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct workshops on communication, presentation, non‑verbal cues, group discussion, and interpersonal skills.
• Build students' self‑confidence, assertiveness, and leadership through practical exercises.
• Guide students in preparing industry‑relevant resumes and conducting placement‑support training.
• Provide counseling, mentoring, and feedback sessions for holistic development.
• Gather industry feedback via the General Manager‑Career Competency Development and update training modules accordingly.
• Stay current with university accreditation requirements related to learning and development.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate qualification (PG) in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver soft‑skill training programs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Willingness to collaborate with senior management for curriculum updates.
