Faculty – Front Office & Housekeeping (Rooms Division)

About the role

IIHM Hyderabad is seeking a full‑time faculty member to teach Front Office and Housekeeping within the Rooms Division. The position is on‑site and involves both theoretical instruction and practical simulations for hospitality students.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess classroom and lab sessions on front office operations, reservations, and housekeeping standards.
• Prepare teaching materials, case studies, and simulation exercises that reflect current hotel practices.
• Mentor learners on professional conduct, service excellence, and industry expectations.
• Collaborate with fellow faculty to develop and update the curriculum.
• Support industry linkages, including internships, placements, and guest lectures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in front office operations, guest relations, reservations, and housekeeping procedures.
• Prior experience in a hotel front office or housekeeping role; academic or training experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.

• Proficiency with hotel property management systems.
• Basic computer applications relevant to hospitality education.
