Façade Detailer Engineer

About the role

Advenser is seeking an experienced Engineer – Façade Detailer to join its multidisciplinary engineering team in Kochi. The role focuses on producing accurate 2D shop drawings for curtain wall, storefront, doors and windows systems using AutoCAD, while collaborating closely with internal engineering and project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare precise 2D shop drawings for curtain wall, storefront, doors and windows systems using AutoCAD.
• Review and interpret architectural, structural and project specification drawings.
• Ensure all drawings meet client requirements, project specifications and company quality standards.
• Coordinate with internal engineering and project teams to resolve design and drafting queries.
• Raise RFIs (Requests for Information) when clarification is needed.
• Perform self‑quality checks before submission and maintain version control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Deliver assigned work within project schedules while maintaining high quality.

Required profile

• Any degree.
• 3–7 years of hands‑on AutoCAD drafting experience on façade projects.
• Proven experience preparing shop drawings for curtain wall, storefront, doors and windows systems.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• AutoCAD (strong proficiency).
• Knowledge of Revit or Autodesk Inventor (preferred).
• Familiarity with façade systems such as curtain walls, storefronts, structural glazing, spider glazing, ACP cladding, skylights, canopies and balustrades.
