Facade Architect – GFRC / UHPC

About the role

The Global Elephant (TGE), a specialist in architectural facades based in Mumbai, is seeking a Facade Architect to translate architectural intent into buildable GFRC/UHPC façade systems. You will be involved from concept through shop drawings, fabrication, and on‑site installation across projects in India.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret architectural plans, sections, and elevations to develop GFRC/UHPC façade designs.
• Prepare detailed shop and fabrication drawings, including panels, moulds, cleats, and fixing arrangements.
• Coordinate directly with clients and architects, attend meetings, present proposals, and resolve design queries.
• Visit project sites, guide site engineers on fixing methods, installation sequencing, and design intent.
• Manage panelisation, incorporate consultant and client feedback, and maintain drawing registers with revision control.

Required profile

• B.Arch with Council of Architecture (CoA) registration.
• 1‑3 years of experience in façade, cladding, or precast, preferably with GFRC/UHPC.
• Strong architectural sense and ability to read plans, sections, and elevations.
• Willingness to travel across India for site visits.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Revit/BIM (a plus).
