Experienced Interior Carpenter (Chennai)

About the role

MM Engineers is seeking an experienced interior carpenter to join its project team in Chennai. The role involves delivering high‑quality interior woodwork and finishing for commercial and residential projects.

Key responsibilities

• Execute interior carpentry, woodwork, furniture, partitions, doors, cabinets and finishing works.
• Interpret drawings, measurements and project specifications accurately.
• Safely operate hand and power tools on site.
• Ensure high‑quality workmanship, timely completion and proper finishing.
• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors and other trades.
• Follow site safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of proven experience in interior carpentry.
• Strong practical skills in interior woodwork, finishing and installation.
• Demonstrated record of successfully completed projects.
• Ability to read and work from drawings and specifications.
• Good workmanship, attention to detail and reliability.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a site team.
• ITI or relevant vocational training preferred; equivalent experience considered.
