Experienced Cabinet Installer / Carpenter

About the role

Mountain Sky Closets & Garages is seeking an experienced cabinet installer/carpenter to join its team in Steamboat Springs, CO. You will work with high‑end custom storage solutions, installing closets, mudrooms, pantries, and garage cabinetry for luxury‑market customers.

Key responsibilities

• Install custom storage systems and accessories using laminate wood, edge‑banding, hardware, and other materials.
• Interpret and follow company‑provided CAD drawings or blueprints to ensure accurate installations.
• Remove existing cabinetry, perform patching and painting as needed.
• Maintain shop tools, equipment, and company vehicles in safe, working order.
• Provide professional, courteous service during in‑home installations.
• Adhere to safety standards and company policies at all times.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience in carpentry, woodworking, cabinet or closet installation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to meet the demands of the job.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard hand and power tools.
• Experience reading and applying CAD drawings or blueprints.
• Precise measuring and cutting skills.
• Finish work such as silicone application, trim work, and adjusting drawer fronts.
