Experienced Accountant for CA Firm (Delhi)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our Delhi office and support startups and SMEs with their compliance and accounting needs. The role is full‑time, on‑site, and focuses on GST, TDS, ROC filings and statutory audit assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file GST, TDS and ROC returns for multiple clients.
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records, ledger reconciliation and payroll calculations.
• Support statutory audits by preparing schedules, working papers and responding to audit queries.
• Handle monthly and annual closing activities, including journal entries and financial statements.
• Respond to client queries, coordinate with internal teams and ensure timely deliverables.
• Identify and implement process improvements while adhering to regulatory timelines.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience as an Accountant in a CA firm.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping and ledger reconciliation.
• Hands‑on experience with Tally, BUSY or similar accounting software.
• Practical experience in GST compliance, TDS calculations and ROC documentation.
• Exposure to statutory audit procedures and preparation of working papers.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools.
• Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy and ability to manage multiple client deadlines.
• B.Com, M.Com or equivalent academic background.
• Ability to work on‑site in Delhi, maintain confidentiality and demonstrate a client‑focused mindset.
