Executive Quality Assurance

About the role

The Executive Quality Assurance professional will lead the integrity and compliance of analytical activities within Sun Pharma's Global Quality and Compliance unit. This role ensures that laboratory processes, data, and documentation meet cGMP standards and supports continuous improvement across the Quality Control laboratory.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and verify the accuracy and adequacy of analytical results and review analytical reports.
• Ensure laboratory compliance through instrument audit‑trail reviews, procedural verification, and online QC activity checks.
• Review change‑control requests, specifications, standard test procedures, and SOPs.
• Perform periodic verification of application software linked to laboratory instruments.
• Assess calibration and preventive‑maintenance data for lab equipment.
• Evaluate OOS, OOT, out‑of‑calibration, deviation, and CAPA reports; support root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Prepare trend analyses for OOS/OOT events and verify the effectiveness of CAPA implementations.
• Verify qualification data for laboratory instruments and sample destruction records.
• Maintain QC hard‑book, sequential logs, registers, and ensure adherence to EHS and cGMP policies.

Required profile

• Educational qualification: M.Pharm, M.Sc, B.Pharm or B.Sc.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical quality assurance or laboratory compliance.
