Executive Procurement – Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management

About the role

The Executive Procurement role is responsible for managing strategic sourcing and procurement transactions for indirect categories. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure timely, cost‑effective acquisition of civil, mechanical, electrical, CAPEX, MRO and spare parts while maintaining high supplier performance.

Key responsibilities

• Source, evaluate and manage supplier relationships to guarantee quality, reliability and on‑time delivery.
• Prepare, monitor and administer purchase orders in line with internal policies.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms and commercial conditions to achieve cost optimisation.
• Track market trends, analyse supplier capabilities and conduct benchmarking for informed sourcing decisions.
• Support new product development by coordinating with vendors and internal teams.
• Draft, review and manage procurement contracts and ensure compliance with legal standards.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Identify supply‑chain risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering and Quality teams to align procurement activities with business goals.
• Prepare procurement reports, KPIs and analyse data for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in sourcing and vendor management within a structured procurement environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in managing tasks efficiently to meet deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (BE/B.Tech) or MBA is desirable.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing industry is a plus.
