Executive Housekeeper

About the role

The Executive Housekeeper oversees daily housekeeping, recreation/health club, and laundry operations (if applicable) at a hospitality property. This role ensures guest rooms, public areas, and employee spaces are clean, well‑maintained, and meet brand standards while supporting guest and employee satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate guest‑room status communication with the Front Desk and collaborate with Engineering for maintenance needs.
• Supervise the general cleaning schedule, assign work based on room turnover lists, and manage inventory of supplies and uniforms.
• Lead daily shift operations, enforce housekeeping policies, and conduct inspections of guest rooms and public spaces.
• Assist with ordering of guestroom and cleaning supplies, and maintain an effective inspection program.
• Monitor departmental expenses, understand budget impacts, and help achieve financial targets.
• Address guest complaints, promote service excellence, and empower staff to deliver high‑quality customer service.
• Participate in HR activities such as staffing, accident investigations, policy enforcement, and employee feedback.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of housekeeping or related experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
