Executive – General Ledger Accounting

About the role

We are looking for an Executive to manage General Ledger (GL) accounting activities. You will work closely with plant user departments and the accounting manager to ensure accurate financial data and timely reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Record general accounting transactions, including provisions and accruals.
• Collaborate with plant departments to collect data for provisions, accruals, and financial statements.
• Prepare financial statements and reports in line with accounting standards.
• Perform GL accounting tasks such as journal entries, ledger reviews, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Handle fixed‑asset accounting and trial‑balance finalisation.
• Gather and consolidate financial data from multiple sources.
• Support internal and external audits by providing schedules, annexes, and answers to inquiries.
• Contribute to process‑improvement initiatives for reporting and consolidation.
• Maintain documentation related to financial reporting activities.

Required profile

• 1‑5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or related roles.
• Familiarity with financial reporting and consolidation processes.
• Relevant qualifications such as CA Inter. or professional certifications in accounting, finance, SAP operations, or Record‑to‑Report.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting principles.
