Executive – General Ledger Accounting

About the role

We are seeking an Executive to lead General Ledger (GL) accounting activities. The role includes recording transactions, supporting month‑end close, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Record general accounting transactions, including provisions and accruals.
• Collaborate with plant user departments and the accounting manager to gather local data for provisions and accruals.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports in line with accounting standards.
• Perform GL accounting tasks such as journal entries, ledger scrutiny, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Handle fixed‑asset accounting and trial‑balance finalisation in coordination with the plant accounting manager.
• Consolidate financial data from various sources and support internal and external audits.
• Contribute to process‑improvement initiatives for financial reporting and consolidation.
• Maintain documentation related to financial reporting and consolidation activities.

Required profile

• 1 to 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or related roles.
• Familiarity with financial reporting and consolidation processes.
• Professional certifications such as CA Inter or similar are advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
