Executive – Branch Operations (Express Logistics)

About the role

The Executive – Branch Operations role oversees day‑to‑day activities of express logistics branches across multiple locations. The incumbent ensures efficient loading, unloading, routing and documentation while meeting productivity targets and customer time‑windows.

Key responsibilities

• Perform physical loading and unloading of trucks and containers, and sort documents and boxes to optimise delivery routes.
• Plan and re‑prioritise routes, balance stop counts with the pickup coordinator and meet defined productivity targets.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle checks, prepare inspection reports and maintain vehicle and package security.
• Ensure compliance with state and local warehousing, material‑handling and shipping regulations.
• Accurately complete and audit delivery records, pick‑up manifests, AWBs, customs paperwork and commercial invoices.
• Use defined tools to scan, record and transfer data for performance tracking and compliance.
• Handle customer queries, resolve issues or escalate to the appropriate department.
• Identify revenue‑generation and automation opportunities to improve customer satisfaction.
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts, reconcile with system data and maintain stock accuracy.
• Manage own time effectively, prioritize tasks and contribute to team KPIs.

Required profile

• Graduate or Post‑Graduate degree.
• 5‑8 years of experience managing a warehouse or logistics operation.
• Proven supervision, budgeting, safety management and process‑development skills.
• Strong analytical, reporting and judgment abilities.
• Team‑player attitude with a proactive approach.
