Executive / Assistant Manager Process Planner (Assembly & Testing)

About the role

The Assembly and Testing Process Engineer will design, develop and optimise assembly and testing processes for valves and pumps, ensuring high product quality, cost efficiency and production throughput.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop new assembly and testing processes, procedures, and fixtures for new product introductions and existing products.
• Conduct feasibility studies based on assembly drawings and define critical process parameters, work instructions, and quality control points.
• Select and procure appropriate equipment, tooling, and consumables.
• Analyse existing processes to identify bottlenecks and implement lean manufacturing principles such as 5S and Kaizen.
• Propose and implement process changes to improve cycle time, output, cost and quality.
• Lead continuous‑improvement projects and participate in cross‑functional teams.
• Investigate and resolve assembly and testing issues, perform root‑cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Create and maintain detailed process documentation, SOPs and flowcharts.
• Provide training and support to production operators and technicians.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, internal quality requirements and establish PFMEA for products.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering.
• Experience in process planning for assembly and testing of hydraulic/electric components.
• Knowledge of PFMEA, lean manufacturing, root‑cause analysis and CAPA.
• Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
