Executive – Asset Inventory & Stock Management

About the role

We are looking for an Executive to manage our IT asset inventory and stock in Noida. The role ensures accurate recording of hardware, software and peripherals, supports procurement, and maintains compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the company’s fixed‑asset register, inventory records and supporting documents.
• Monitor stock movement—including receipts, issues, returns, transfers and adjustments—and ensure timely reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate inventory data in ERP/software systems and physical registers with clear audit trails.
• Plan and conduct periodic physical stock verification and asset audits across locations.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, finance and operations teams on stock planning, replenishment and asset movements.
• Maintain documentation for asset acquisition, tagging, capitalization, transfer, disposal and write‑off processes.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly inventory, variance, ageing and asset‑utilisation reports for management.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, internal controls and applicable inventory‑management procedures.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase record accuracy, traceability and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in inventory, asset management, warehouse operations or stock control.
• Working knowledge of inventory management principles, stock reconciliation, physical verification and variance analysis.
• Experience using ERP or inventory systems.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including reports, pivot tables, reconciliations and data analysis.
