Event Management Trainer (Full-Time/Part-Time)

About the role

The Event Management Trainer will design and deliver highly interactive, skill‑based training for college students in Sikkim. The focus is on practical event planning, execution, vendor management and experiential marketing, using live role‑plays, simulations and real‑world case studies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct experiential training modules covering event conceptualisation, budgeting, production, staging, licensing and crowd management.
• Facilitate activity‑based learning such as venue layout charting, crisis‑management simulations and marketing pitch drills.
• Design and run structured role‑play scenarios (e.g., client‑planner negotiations, vendor conflicts, press‑conference handling).
• Lead case‑study analyses of global and regional events to develop critical thinking.
• Mentor students through the planning and execution of mock campus events.
• Maintain attendance records, progress reports and evaluation metrics.
• Coordinate with college officials, industry professionals and internal project teams.
• Ensure compliance with institutional SOPs and professional codes of conduct.

Required profile

• Prior industry experience in event management, wedding planning, corporate conferences or corporate communication.
• Experience delivering vocational or hands‑on training is a strong asset.
