Estimator III – Construction Cost Estimation

About the role

AECOM is seeking an Estimator III to support its estimating systems and processes for infrastructure projects. The role involves preparing bid packages, conceptual estimates, and analyzing subcontractor bids while collaborating with project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare bid packages, conceptual estimates and perform analysis of subcontractor bids.
• Assist in larger, more complex estimating assignments and develop detailed Estimate Plans.
• Develop wage‑rate build‑ups, material take‑offs and cash‑flow schedules.
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications to ensure accurate cost calculations.

Required profile

• Experience working with company estimating systems and terminology.
• Ability to recognize how project actions and assumptions impact estimates.
• Understanding of URS EC Division costing structure, including overheads, G&A and insurance.
