Estimation & Quantity Manager – Luxury Furniture

About the role

The Estimation & Quantity Manager will lead quantity surveying, cost estimation and bill of quantities (BOQ) preparation for high‑end bespoke furniture production. Working on the Daman factory floor, you will ensure raw material requirements are accurately defined and aligned with design prototypes.

Key responsibilities

• Review CAD and 3D technical drawings, prototype specifications and design briefs to extract precise measurements.
• Develop detailed BOQs and Bills of Materials (BOM) for custom and modular furniture ranges.
• Calculate yield, wastage allowances and conduct cost estimation for standard batches, bespoke orders and mock‑up prototypes.
• Collaborate with Design, R&D and Procurement teams to establish baseline BOMs and monitor actual versus planned consumption.
• Identify and implement value‑engineering opportunities to reduce material costs while maintaining luxury standards.
• Prepare cost variance reports, budget forecasts and yield‑improvement metrics for senior management.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Engineering, Production Management or a related field.
• Proven experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation or BOM management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on precision and waste reduction.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with design, procurement and production teams.
