Estimation Engineer

About the role

The Estimation Engineer will join our Rajkot office to prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical distribution panel projects and related EPC works. You will work closely with design, engineering and procurement teams to translate technical data into detailed BOQs and competitive quotations.

Key responsibilities

• Review drawings, specifications and tender documents to develop precise Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and pricing.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical panels, industrial electrical projects and EPC contracts.
• Coordinate with design, engineering and procurement to gather technical and cost information.
• Analyse market rates, vendor quotations and project budgets to support cost‑optimisation.
• Prepare quotations and proposals for clients, and assist in negotiations with suppliers.
• Maintain estimation records, update cost databases and conduct site visits when required.
• Provide clarification on estimates and scope to project teams during execution.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of experience in cost estimation for electrical panels, industrial electrical projects or EPC works.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation software.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and tender documents.
• Effective communication and documentation skills.
• Capability to work collaboratively across cross‑functional teams and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
