Equipment Model Management Engineer

About the role

The Equipment Model Management Engineer ensures the quality and integration of 3D equipment models supplied to Airbus. Working closely with design and installation teams, the role supports the creation, validation, and maintenance of models used across aerospace programs.

Key responsibilities

• Validate CAD quality of 3D equipment models using CATIA and Q‑checker.
• Integrate validated models into tools such as 3DQM, 3DCOM, and PDMLinkCC.
• Provide feedback to design offices and suppliers to resolve CAD quality issues.
• Model Airbus specification equipment from 2D drawings or requirements.
• Resolve incidents related to model management within the 3D product tree.
• Ensure correct equipment flow in TDM and PLM tools.
• Support design and installation teams in geometry, dimension, and interface checks.
• Assist suppliers with CAD quality and onboarding processes.

Required profile

• Professional experience handling 3D equipment models in an aerospace or similar high‑tech environment.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and communicate technical feedback.
• Attention to detail and commitment to compliance and integrity.
