Entry-Level IT Support Engineer – Digital Workplace

About the role

Cognizant is launching its Off Campus Drive for 2025‑2026 to recruit fresh talent for the Digital Workplace Practice. As an Entry‑Level IT Support Engineer you will be the first point of contact for global enterprise users, delivering prompt technical assistance to keep their digital tools and systems running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support for Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, VPN connectivity and standard corporate software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and network access issues in a 24/7 global environment.
• Log and track all incidents in the enterprise ticketing system, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Monitor real‑time infrastructure alerts and follow standard operating procedures to prevent service disruptions.
• Escalate complex problems to Level 2/Level 3 teams while adhering to Service Level Agreements.
• Assist non‑technical users with clear, step‑by‑step guidance.
• Contribute to the internal knowledge base to improve future incident resolution.

Required profile

• 3‑year undergraduate degree (BCA, B.Sc., B.Com, BBA, BA, B.Voc, BMS) from a recognized university.
• Graduation expected in the 2025 or 2026 academic batch.
• Consistently strong academic record (minimum 50% across X, XII, Diploma).
